Aptius 5.0 is a major upgrade to the Aptius Enterprise Risk Framework. In addition to the already comprehensive functionality within Aptius for the identification, measurement and management of enterprise risk, Aptius adds new capabilities to further extend the framework to integrate closely with the Microsoft suite of products, futher improve the risk management and regulatory process and to support the Basel III accord.

New Functionality

• Native support for SQL Server as the underlying Aptius data model.
• Integration with Microsoft Sharepoint and Infopath data sources.
• Native support for Microsoft BI tools.
• Synchronization of events and actionlist items with Sharepoint.
• Enhancements to turnkey user-defined menu system.
• Direct export of data sources from MySQL and SQL Server to flat file output for import into external tools. 
• Enhancements to the pdf based requirements generation functionality.
• Integration with the industry standard Drools business rule engine to enable data sources to be processed using rules as part of the analysis process. 

Basel III

• Support for standard Basel III risk elements.
  
• User definable risk and calculation models to allow internally developed models to be integrated easily.
  
• Support to link to data from capital management models.
  
• Provides the capability to manage multiple business lines and organisational elements for complex organisations.
